After weeks or even months of searching, you’ve found the watch of your dreams and now it’s time to buy. The logical next step is to head to the store, throw down a credit card and pick up your watch. But very few things about luxury watches are logical, including the purchase. In this post, I will tell you the dos and don’ts for purchasing your very own luxury timepiece. There are three basic rules for such purchases:

Although you can buy nice things you might not be expressing yourself the way you think you are. It is how one puts himself together that makes the man. Here we will try to find that sweet spot of standing out in the crowd without becoming “that guy” who is trying too hard and accomplishing nothing.
With that said, when is it smart to spend the extra buck or put in that extra effort? We have a few ideas on a couple of things … just random thoughts from a couple of guys who spend their free time writing about chicken wings.
